The History Month special, organized by Unley Uniting Church in collaboration with the Unley Uluru Support Group, will feature the screening of the film "Close to the Bone." Additionally, Mike Brown will offer reflections on his forebears and the challenging history of encounters with First Nations people during the early days of pastoral settlement. Kaurna Elder Allen Edwards will share his personal journey of disempowerment and re-empowerment. There will also be an update on the ongoing display of the Kaurna footprint in the Unley Municipality. This free event will include afternoon tea.
